Terms & Conditions 

1.Payment Terms 

  1. i. Installment Payment Plan (IPP)

Participant opting for the Installment Payment Plan are required to make the full programme payment via the designated payment gateway and select their preferred participating bank with either a 6-month or 12-month installment period. 

  1. HRD Corp (HRDC) Grant Claim

Participant claiming under the HRD Corp (HRDC) grant are required to: 

  • Submit six (6) separate grant applications — one for each module —prior to the programme start date. All six (6) applications must be approved before the commencement of the programme. 
  • Upon submission of the grant applications, a 30% upfront payment of the total programme fee (non-refundable) is required to secure enrolment and confirm participation in the full six-module programme. 
  • The remaining 70% of the programme fee will be claimed progressively from HRD Corp upon completion of each respective module. 

iii. Bank Transfer 

Participant opting for bank transfer are required to make a 50% upfront payment (non-refundable) of the total programme fee, with the remaining 50% payable progressively upon the commencement of each respective module. 

2.Bank Information – UPSKILLINGMINDS SDN. BHD., OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad Account Number- 786-126960-5. Please state the invoice number and invoice date when payment is made. 

 

  1. Indemnity – Individual will indemnify, defend and hold harmless UpSkillingMinds and its officers, agents, contractors and employees against any loss, damages, fines and expenses arising out of acts or omissions by the Client or Participants that constitutes an infringement of Malaysian laws.

 

 

Refund Policy 

At UpSkillingMinds, we are committed to providing high-quality training programmes to help teams and individuals achieve their professional development goals. We understand that circumstances may arise where a client or individual needs to request a refund, and we have created this policy to outline the applicable terms and conditions. 

Enrolment Refund & Withdrawal Policy 

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to enquiries@upskillingminds.com, together with a brief explanation for the request. The date of receipt of the written notice will be used to determine refund eligibility. 

  1. Installment Payment Plan (IPP)

If written notice of withdrawal is received: 

  • More than 14 calendar days before the programme start date, a 30% withdrawal fee of the total programme fee will apply. 
  • Within 14 calendar days before the programme start date, a 50% withdrawal fee of the total programme fee will apply. 

The applicable withdrawal fee will be deducted from the amount paid, and the remaining balance (if any) will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–14 business days upon approval. 

If a participant withdraws after the programme has commenced, no refund will be provided. 

  1. HRD Corp (HRDC) Grant

If written notice of withdrawal is received: 

  • More than 14 calendar days before the programme start date, a 30% withdrawal fee of the total programme fee will apply. 
  • Within 14 calendar days before the programme start date, a 50% withdrawal fee of the total programme fee will apply. 

Any grant amount received from HRD Corp will be refunded to HRD Corp accordingly. The applicable withdrawal fee will be invoiced directly to the client. 

If a participant withdraws after the commencement of the programme: 

  • The 30% upfront payment remains payable and is strictly non-refundable, as it secures participation in the full six-module programme, including any remaining unattended modules. 
  • The applicable 30% upfront payment will be invoiced directly to the company. The 30% amount previously received under the HRD Corp grant will be refunded to HRD Corp accordingly. 
  1. Bank Transfer

If written notice of withdrawal is received: 

  • More than 14 calendar days before the programme start date, a 30% withdrawal fee of the total programme fee will apply. 
  • Within 14 calendar days before the programme start date, a 50% withdrawal fee of the total programme fee will apply. 

The applicable withdrawal fee will be deducted from the upfront payment received, and the remaining balance (if any) will be refunded accordingly.
Where the applicable withdrawal fee is equal to the upfront payment paid, no refund will be due. 

If a participant withdraws after the programme has commenced, no refund will be provided, and the 50% upfront payment remains payable, as it secures participation in the full six-module programme. 

UpSkillingMinds reserves the right to make the final determination on all refund, withdrawal, and payment matters. 

Changes After the Refund Period 

If a registered client or individual is unable to attend after the applicable refund period: 

  • A substitute participant may be nominated, provided written notification is submitted prior to the commencement of the programme. 
  • Requests outside the stated refund terms may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the sole discretion of UpSkillingMinds. 

UpSkillingMinds reserves the right to make the final decision on all refund, substitution, and transfer requests. 

Cancellation by UpSkillingMinds 

If the programme is cancelled by UpSkillingMinds due to unforeseen circumstances or failure to meet minimum participation requirements, a full refund will be issued within 7–14 business days, or the participant may opt to transfer enrolment to the next available intake. 

Exceptions and Limitations 

Certain training programmes or services may be excluded from this standard refund policy, including but not limited to: 

  • Customised corporate training sessions 
  • Private in-house programmes 
  • Specialised certification courses 

Any such exceptions will be clearly communicated during the enrolment process. 

UpSkillingMinds reserves the right to deny a refund request if: 

  • The request is made in bad faith 
  • No refunds will be issued once the training programme has commenced, except in cases where UpSkillingMinds cancels the programme. 
  • The request falls outside the stated refund window
