What the two-day programme covers
1. Wearing the airline brand — image with purpose
Participants explore how appearance, presence and behaviour communicate airline brand identity. They examine how grooming and uniform styling can create visual consistency across passenger touchpoints.
Practice activity: Complete Decode the Airline Image, analysing airline brand profiles and developing an image identity for an assigned airline concept.
2. Aviation grooming standards — from uniform to finishing details
Participants examine uniform fit, styling and coordination, alongside hair, nails, facial hair, accessories and personal grooming. They consider expectations across cabin, airport, lounge and ground roles.
Practice activity: Complete Spot the Grooming Gap, identifying inconsistencies in employee scenarios and recommending corrections before duty.
3. Face forward — creating a fresh and polished aviation look
Participants explore skincare preparation for different working hours, environments and climates. They practise facial presentation, hair finishing and makeup touch-ups where applicable.
Practice activity: Complete Aviation Ready Transformation, assessing a practical before-and-after grooming exercise for freshness, confidence and professional presentation.
4. Poise in motion — the art of professional presence
Participants practise walking, standing, sitting and working posture, together with controlled gestures, eye contact and facial expressions. They learn to maintain poise in confined, crowded and highly visible environments.
Practice activity: Complete Walk, Pause, Present, moving through simulated check-in, boarding gate, aircraft aisle and passenger welcome situations.
5. Looking professional under pressure
Participants explore how to maintain grooming, freshness and composure during long-haul, early-morning and late-night duties. They consider climate, travel conditions, delays, disruptions and difficult passenger situations.
Practice activity: Complete The 10-Hour Duty Challenge, developing practical presentation strategies for demanding operational scenarios.
6. Global image — representing the airline across cultures
Participants examine cultural differences in appearance, personal space, gestures and professional etiquette. They explore how to balance individual personality with airline grooming and brand expectations.
Practice activity: Complete My Aviation Image Passport, assessing grooming, poise and cultural awareness, then creating a pre-duty, during-duty and post-duty routine with personal improvement commitments.
