Participants explore planned and impulse buying, price sensitivity, promotion-driven purchases and browsing behaviour. They practise reading customer signals and choosing when to greet, offer assistance or give customers space.

2. Discovering needs and providing solutions
Participants practise using quick questions, observation and listening to understand the customer’s shopping purpose. They learn to recommend suitable products and alternatives, explain value and communicate promotions without overwhelming the customer.

3. Handling difficult customers and objections
Participants explore common retail challenges, including price complaints, unavailable products, misunderstood promotions, queue frustration and returns. They practise responding to these situations and supporting service recovery.

4. Creating one more reason to buy and closing
Participants learn to make relevant product suggestions based on convenience and emotional benefits. They practise recognising buying signals, closing naturally, expressing appreciation and introducing loyalty programmes.
